SHOUT Dinner 2015

The first Diamond Ladies Lunch took place in the diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone in 2014 and was a great success raising in excess of €10K for Sligo Hospital Oncology Trust (SHOUT).  It was such a success that there was no doubt that the event would be repeated in 2015.
The 27th of November 2015 was the date and another fantastic day was enjoyed by all the 420 glamorous ladies in attendance! Mary Clarke and her team in the Diamond Coast produced a wonderful meal and musical entertainment, spot-prizes and a fashion show added to the enjoyment of the day.
There was also a serious element to the day; Ms Liz Yeates, the guest speaker spoke about her experience of cancer and how it impacted on her life and the audience found her inspirational. The committee are grateful to her for taking the time to join us and share her experience. Ms. Jo Shortt, a member of the SHOUT Board, gave a presentation outlining how SHOUT supports patients and their families as they undertake their cancer journey.
The committee are extremely grateful to all our sponsors for their ongoing support of this event and are delighted to announce that €18,600 was raised by the Diamond Ladies for SHOUT. We are looking forward to the next exciting day out in the Diamond Coast Hotel on Friday December 2nd 2016.
