SHOUT Lunch 2014
Christmas woud not be the same without the Annual Ladies Lunch!
The 7th Annual Ladies Luncheon took place in the Sligo Park Hotel on Friday 5th December in aid of SHOUT (Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust). Christmas would not be the same without it!!
This event was the biggest yet with 340 ladies in attendance from all parts of Sligo and beyond. Organisers Emma, Imelda and Jo were thrilled with the success of the day .. “As ever, we would like to thank all our sponsors, local businesses who supported us and of course all those who attended. Without their help year after year- this fantastic day would not be possible. We would also like to thank Mr Gerry Moore and the staff of the Sligo Park Hotel for their co-operation, and professionalism. This year, we are also delighted to welcome the Diamond Ladies Lunch that took place in the Diamond Coast Hotel at the end of November. Between both events, almost 600 ladies in Sligo have supported SHOUT this Christmas- a huge achievement”
As well as being among the most glamorous events in the social calendar, the SHOUT Ladies lunch has to date raised more €120,000 for local cancer services. This year alone we raised more than €21,000 to help patients and their families in coping with cancer.
As ever, the fashionistas of Sligo were out in force on the day with glamour and style to rival the best in the country. Ms Fionnuala O’Kelly …better known as Mrs Enda Kenny was also in attendance to show her support to the work carried out by SHOUT.
Organisers were also delighted to welcome Ms Emma Hannigan, the well know campaigner for cancer services as well as Backwater Jack, Eunjo Goh, Carla O’Neill and special video link from Mr Francis Brennan.
